Windows Vista Easy Transfer
If you have had a computer for some time, you probably have all your emails saved there, you also probably have allot of programs there as well.
Microsoft presents Easy Transfer as the magic sollution to changing your computer, in reality it is not
Easy transfer may allow you to transfer MOST of your documents, and most of the settings for programs, but it will not import everything
For example, you will have to reinstall all your programs.
In reality, most of those programs (well written programs) store there settings and data in your folder under the Documents and settings directory.
What easy transfer does is that it imports the obviously yours settings and files and leaves everything else where it is, the part this application does is the easy part !
the hard part is left for you to do, it may sound good on the box at the shop, But will it look good when you come back home ?
