Windows vista security
Back in windows XP, we had to wait for service pack 2 to get an acceptable system security wise, the OS was a disaster, now Microsoft claims they have it right the first time, Sure they learned allot from XP, but don't jump to conclusions that it should be more secure than XP
Security is a thing that gets slowly unveiled with time as security volnerabilities are found, Although the old features will probably be as secure as XP, the new features will have security issues.
Although we have BitLocker in Vista, and more control over the filesystem (a new thing will come up with the updates that makes the vista file system heaven compared to the ones on the market), the real threat has always been the internet.
So most of vista's security ships with internet exporer 7, but wait, can't we just install that on XP and get a securer system ?
Sure you can, Just go ahead to microsofts website and download it, and there is no catch (usually microsoft does have a catch, things are chainging with the feirce competition).
I will review more about vista's security in due course, for now the website is still being built, so check back on this page soon, we will have it ready as soon as possible.
